Sumatra Kerinci Gunung Tujuh - Wet Hulled Honey
Specialty imported coffees + Single Origin/Estate + Batch roasted
The first of five coffees from the Koerintji Barokah Coop which is located on a plateau at the base of the volcano Mt Kerinci. With this wet hulled honey lot, the cherry is pulped and then dried on raised beds for a short period. When the coffee is between 30-50% moisture content it is dry milled and then stored on raised beds for further drying of around 15 days. The main difference to classic honey processing is that the coffee is milled while the parchment is still wet.
We roast a diverse selection of single origin coffees from around the world. These coffees are roasted for slower brew methods such as filter, Aeropress, and plunger to showcase the amazing variety in flavours, aroma, acidity and body of these coffees.
